Chris Sutton has now been discussing a manager he believes Manchester United should try and hire to replace Erik ten Hag.
There’s no doubt that Ten Hag is now becoming subject to more and more speculation over his future from pundits and fans right now.

It remains to be seen if the Manchester United board feel the same way, but there doesn’t seem to be any immediate plans stemming from Sir Jim Ratcliffe for a change in manager.
That being said, Chris Sutton believes that the club should already be looking elsewhere.
Speaking on the BBC’s ‘The Monday Night Club’, Sutton thought Man United should be looking to replace ten Hag if they really wanted to turn things around.
In fact, Sutton also believed there was a perfect manager already in the Premier League that the club should be targeting, Roberto De Zerbi.
Although quite settled at Brighton & Hove Albion right now, Sutton believed that Ratcliffe should be proving how serious he is by making an audacious move for the Italian.
Chris Sutton says Man United should replace Erik ten Hag with Roberto De Zerbi
Speaking on the podcast, Sutton recognised that a move would be difficult, but surely not impossible.
He said: “De Zerbi, say. Is that impossible to get De Zerbi out of Brighton if you have a clear vision and a clear plan?

“I’m sure Sir Jim Ratcliffe would have had, as a Man United fan, he has followed the club and speaks passionately about that.
“He has spoken about the club over the last 11 years, the club not really kicking on, so he would have an idea of the Man United team and the way he wants them to play, so why wouldn’t he make a play for De Zerbi then?”
Of course, it is difficult to argue with the merits of De Zerbi being a success at Old Trafford, he’s an exceptional talent.
But some Man United fans may still disagree with Sutton’s thought that Ten Hag should be let go.
It’s certainly one that will divide opinion, and perhaps a debate that will drag on into the summer, especially after another loss at the hands of Manchester City.
That being said, Danny Murphy did love the new role Bruno Fernandes played on Sunday.
