Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones earned praise from Chris Sutton for his impressive display against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
The Reds ace delivered a solid performance as Jurgen Klopp’s charges ran out 4-1 winners in the Premier League clash at Anfield.
Jones carried the ball forward well throughout the match, and only a superb Djorje Petrovic save denied him from getting on the scoresheet.
In the first half especially, the 23-year-old helped Liverpool press fiercely and maintained high levels after the interval before being subbed off.

Sutton liked what he saw from Jones, telling BBC Radio 5 Live early on in the game: “Talk about the money Liverpool have spent in the midfield but Jones is just getting better and better.”
It was great seeing Jones – a Reds academy graduate – run rings around Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, both of whom cost Chelsea over £100million each.
All in all, it was a superb performance from Jones and from most of the Liverpool players, whose efforts led to a pretty one-sided match and a heavy defeat for the Blues.

The impressive Bradley then raced in from the right and found the far corner with a superb strike to make it 2-0 six minutes before the break.
The Northern Irishman went on to help Liverpool add a third with his second assist of the march, crossing for Dominik Szoboszlai to head home in the 65th minute.
Although Chelsea pulled one back in the 70th minute through Christopher Nkunku, Liverpool soon restored their three-goal lead.
In the 79th minute, Darwin Nunez got past Thiago Silva before squaring for Luis Diaz to make it four with a simple finish.
