Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to laud Rangers as they take a stunning lead into the second-leg of their Europa League tie at Ibrox, while he picked out Ryan Jack as the standout performer for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men on Thursday.
Rangers produced one of their greatest European displays for many years as they took down Borussia Dortmund inside the Westfalenstadion.

James Tavernier broke the deadlock from the penalty spot seven minutes before the break after the home side had been penalised for a handball.
Alfredo Morelos managed to double the lead shortly after as he tapped the ball home on the goalline.

Rangers fans would have ripped your arm off for a 2-0 lead at the break. But the scoreline was to get even better, with John Lundstram scoring a brilliant goal from outside the box.
Dortmund would strike back through Jude Bellingham. The youngster produced a superb finish to beat Allan McGregor.
But any hopes of a comeback were extinguished moments later. Morelos’ effort led to an own goal as Rangers looked like scoring every time they went forward against the Bundesliga giants.
Dortmund would get another back. And the 4-2 scoreline keeps the tie very much open heading into the second-leg at Ibrox.
But Rangers would have been delighted with a two-goal advantage had they been offered such a lead beforehand. Certainly, if they can replicate that display in the rematch, they should book their spot in the next round quite comfortably.
‘Really excellent’: Sutton lauds Ryan Jack and Rangers after Dortmund win
Several players put themselves forward for man of the match. But one of the most impressive displays came from Jack.
The 29-year-old was colossal in the middle of the park. And many Rangers fans were stunned by his performance.
Those thoughts have been echoed by Sutton in his own tweet on Rangers’ heroics in Dortmund…
