Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to comment on a ‘remarkable’ night in the Scottish Premiership, with Celtic scoring late on to bag a point as Rangers were beaten at Ibrox on another disappointing day for Steven Gerrard’s men.
The Gers already appeared to need a flawless run to stand a chance of catching Celtic. Neil Lennon’s side were 12 points clear heading into Wednesday’s games.

Unfortunately for Rangers, that gap has now increased. The Light Blues were beaten 1-0 by Hamilton Academical at home. David Moyo bagged the only goal 11 minutes into the second-half.
Celtic meanwhile, may have only picked up one extra point. But there is no question that they will be delighted with their result.

The Bhoys were 2-1 down away at Livingston as the final minutes approached. However, Tom Rogic ensured that the points would be shared and their lead at the top of the table would increase.
It looks to be a major blow for Rangers. Had results gone in their favour, the gap could have been nine points with a game in hand and two Old Firm clashes to come.
They are now requiring a lot of snookers. And with Celtic winning every single domestic game since the season resumed in January, that is looking unlikely – especially with Rangers’s last league win coming in mid-February.
And Sutton suggested on social media that he believes that the title race is now over. He praised the Hoops for the fight that they showed, while slating the Gers for their inability to battle back.
Here is what Sutton made of the results…
