It’s Leeds United vs Bournemouth in the Premier League this afternoon, and Chris Sutton has revealed his prediction.
The Whites were on a terrible run of four consecutive defeats before they went to Anfield last weekend. Not many people expected them to take anything away from the game, but they managed to pick up all three points from Liverpool in the Reds’ own backyard.
Next up for Leeds is a home game against a tricky Bournemouth side.

Chris Sutton predicts the result of Leeds United vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth have looked like a completely different side since Scott Parker was shown the door following their 9-0 hammering against Liverpool.
The Cherries went on a six-game unbeaten run, but their fortunes changed again and they’ve now lost three on the bounce – against Southampton, West Ham, and most recently, Tottenham.
The game at Elland Road this afternoon will not be an easy one for Bournemouth, and Sutton believes they’ll get beaten again. However, almost every time the BBC pundit has predicted a Leeds win, they end up on the losing side.
Sutton wrote on BBC Sport: “I was only just out when I predicted that Leeds would lose 6-1 at Liverpool last week. I took a lot of flak from Leeds fans following their win at Anfield but, once again, it was after the event. They were thinking the same as me before the game.
“Seriously though, I was pleased for Leeds boss Jesse Marsch when he got that result. I have never met him, and he bigs his team up possibly too much at times after they’ve lost games, but I get why he is always trying to be positive about his players.
“That win will buy him a bit of time, not with the club’s owners, but with the Elland Road crowd who were on his back when they lost to Fulham in their last home game. That goodwill will only last if Marsch can back it up by beating Bournemouth, who were woeful as they chucked away a 2-0 lead to lose against Tottenham last time out.
“But it is a good enough reason to be positive about Leeds, and I am going for them to win this one. Unfortunately for them, that usually means they lose.”

TBR View:
After a phenomenal victory over Liverpool at Anfield, Leeds will fancy themselves to get the job done again today.
The Whites have been unlucky on many occasions this season. They’ve lost more than one game in which they were the better side – the fixture against league leaders Arsenal was one of them.
Jesse Marsch, however, will be hoping that all the bad luck is behind him. He’ll want his side to go on a good run now, and there’s no reason why they cannot.
As for Sutton’s predictions with Leeds, he hasn’t had much luck. Whites fans will be hoping he’s right for once today.
