Chris Sutton has a warning for Leicester City fans after Brendan Rodgers admission

Leicester City continued their excellent start to the season with a 2-1 win over Everton at the King Power Stadium this evening.

The result keeps the Foxes in second place in the Premier League and fans at the club are getting excited about a top four finish.

However, there is some concern that they could lose the man behind the success. Brendan Rodgers is reportedly on the shortlist for the vacant Arsenal manager job.

Plenty of fans would question why Rodgers would leave Leicester for Arsenal at this moment in time but he has previous, turning his back on a great job at Celtic to make the move to Leicester in the first place.

With that in mind, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that Rodgers could jump ship. The Daily Star has reported Arsenal as his potential dream job whilst rumours of a potential exit clause in his Leicester contract have also surfaced.

As reported by NBC Sports, Rodgers spoke after the game about an apparent clause and suggested he does have one, although called talk of an exit ‘hypothetical’ at present.

Listen there probably is a clause like that in most manager’s contracts. It’s all hypothetical, all these types of situations.

But one big Celtic fan believes Leicester City fans should be worried.

Chris Sutton was critical of Rodgers over his decision to leave Celtic for Leicester and it seems he feels that the Foxes boss will move on if Arsenal do come calling.

Leicester City fans will hope that is not the case because, at present, he is delivering the goods at the King Power Stadium.

But, like Sutton, the fans at Celtic will tell you that Rodgers will make the move if he feels it is the right decision.
