Chris Sutton believes that Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham has had a poor season at Parkhead.
The 23-year-old has been in and out of the team throughout the campaign, while he also suffered a knee injury that kept him sidelined between January and March.
He has made 34 appearances across all competitions this season and scored six goals in return.
But the Frenchman has dipped below the standards he set during his first season in the 2017/18 season
The Scottish giants signed him for £4.5million (BBC Sport) from Manchester City and did impress as a box-to-box central midfielder in his first season.
Pundit and ex-Celtic striker Sutton insists that Ntcham has in fact taken a step backwards during the last year.
“Olivier Ntcham has been poor. He has so much potential and has gone backwards this season,” Sutton wrote in the Daily Record.

TBR’s View:
Ntcham currently doesn’t find himself in the best Celtic XI and a string of inconsistent performances this season hasn’t helped his cause.
He needs to try recapture his best form when he is a powerhouse that dominates in the centre of the park and also offers a major goal threat.
The 23-year-old still has plenty of time to turn the corner again and fans have seen what he’s capable of in a Celtic shirt, but he needs to try buck up his ideas next season.
