Celtic legend Chris Sutton has called for the club to bring an end to Boli Bolingoli’s time at the club following his unsanctioned getaway to Spain.
The Hoops star flew out to the country at high-risk and returned without taking part in the mandatory 14-day quarantine (The Scottish Sun).
Signed for £3 million, the left-back failed to notify his bosses at the football club, returning to training just three days after landing last Tuesday.
Bolingoli has tested negative for the virus but his stupidity could have had a massive impact on his teammates after the player came on during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock.
Although the 25-year-old has since apologised for his actions, Sutton thinks this should be the end off the road for the Celtic man.
There should be no way back for Bolingoli at Celtic now. If he knowingly went to Spain before the Kilmarnock game and broke quarantine rules he showed he really doesn’t give a sh## about his teammates, the manager and the support… Celtic should get rid immediately

Bolingoli cost £3 million in the summer of 2019 and hasn’t really made a positive impact at Celtic Park.
Last season the defender played just 14 times in the Scottish Premiership, featuring 28 times in total.
Now behind Jeremie Frimpong in the pecking order, this latest debacle won’t have seen him enhance his reputation at Parkhead.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon and the club’s hierarchy now have a tough decision to make and it remains to be seen whether or not he will keep his job.
Sutton knows all about earning the respect of the Celtic faithful after 86 goals in 199 appearances for the Hoops.
He is under no illusions what should happen to the defender and it’ll be interesting to watch this story develop.
