Chris Sutton was left amazed by Nicolas Pepe after his piece of skill to score in Arsenal’s win yesterday.
The Gunners qualified for the Europa League semi-finals in style with an emphatic victory away to Slavia Prague.
Mikel Arteta’s side won 4-0 on Thursday night to boast a 5-1 aggregate scoreline, as they blew away their Czech opposition in their own backyard.
Pepe, who has dazzled in the Europa League competition this season, opened the scoring against Slavia.
The 25-year-old showed extremely quick feet in the penalty box to keep possession, and he lifted an accurate finish into the the net at the near post.
It now means he’s scored 10 goals across all competitions this season, with half coming in Europe.
Pundit Sutton was majorly impressed with the attacker’s goal.
“This is really clever from Pepe, takes a little touch to create the angle and then lifts it in [over the goalkeeper]. It’s a brilliant finish,” Sutton told BT Sport 2 (10:45pm, 16 April).

TBR’s View:
With Bukayo Saka catching the eye as the right-winger against Slavia, Pepe started the game on the opposite flank.
Pepe is someone that likes to cut inside onto his favoured left foot, but he showed something different with his goal against Slavia.
It feels like the shackles are off him when he plays in the European competition. Unfortunately, it’s not quite happened for him at the Emirates Stadium so far when it comes to his domestic form.
The dazzling wide player has superb technique and is now playing regularly, so the best may be just around the corner from him.
