Victor Moses – 7

Found himself in the right place at the right time to give his side the lead after some great anticipation and with a smart finish. Bombed forward whenever possible, but did struggle to create anything at the end of his runs down the flank.

N’Golo Kante – 7

Full of energy and even bursting down the wings at some points in the game. Never seemed to tire. However, he was clearly a little rusty with a few uncharacteristically misplaced passes.

Cesc Fabregas – 5

Played every Arsenal attacker onside when Sead Kolasinac found the back of the net. He couldn’t take advantage of his range of passing and vision with Batshuayi dropping so deep and he failed to influence the game.

Marcos Alonso – 6

Lacked some of the marauding attacking threat that he usually boasts. Pinned back by Hector Bellerin’s runs forward and was forced to drop even deeper after Pedro’s red card. A frustrating afternoon.
