Arsenal have made just one addition so far this summer but it was certainly a real coup.
Riccardo Calafiori made the switch to the Emirates after an impressive season Euro 2024 campaign with Italy.
The versatile defender is expected to slot in at left-back which was a real weak area last season, so Mikel Arteta will be hopeful his arrival will take his side up a level.
Now, Arsenal are keen on signing Mikel Merino as well as an attacker to complete their summer business.
With that said, one of their rumoured striker targets is now being heavily linked with Chelsea.

Chelsea to offer substantial contract to Victor Osimhen
Arsenal have been linked to Victor Osimhen for most of the summer transfer window as they look to bring in a specialist number nine.
Though, they’re now facing serious competition from Chelsea, who want to bring the Napoli frontman to Stamford Bridge.
According to TEAMtalk, The Blues are willing to offer Osimhen, who’s been labelled ‘world class’ (GOAL), a £9m-a-year contract, which is currently the amount Romelu Lukaku is earning.
Lukaku is wanted by Aston Villa and is expected to leave the West Londoners by the end of August, freeing up funds for the Nigeria international.
That leaves Arsenal with a mammoth task in bringing Osimhen to the club, as they’d now need to at least match Chelsea’s contract offer.
Perhaps they should look elsewhere…
Arsenal should try to sign Marcus Thuram
Instead of breaking the bank for Osimhen, Arsenal should look to sign Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram, who enjoyed a productive season in Serie A last term.
Thuram netted 15 times whilst laying on 14 assists and is thought to be available for around £65m.
The Frenchman can operate as a focal point up front and would allow Arsenal to play a different style when needed.
