Chelsea have been pretty loud in the transfer market in recent years.
There has been a lot of noise around the London club, from their big-money incomings to their high-profile outgoings.
From spending over £100 million each on Enzo Fernandes and Moises Caicedo to finally selling Romelu Lukaku, or allowing Raheem Sterling to join Arsenal on a season-long loan.
Wherever you look, there are headlines involving Chelsea, and for most of the time, it has been negative because of the performances on the pitch.
But under new boss Enzo Maresca, Chelsea have started strongly, only lost one match and are sitting in the Premier League’s top-four.
But amid the hundreds of millions that have been spent and the hundreds of millions that have been brought in, there is probably one transfer that has gone under the radar.
Last summer, Chelsea sold Christian Pulisic to AC Milan for £19 million after he struggled to consistently perform at Stamford Bridge and in the Premier League.
Added to that, the 26-year-old had many injury issues, but all of that is now out of the window and behind him.
Don Hutchison thinks that Pulisic is the best player in Serie A right now, even though his Milan side are in sixth and Antonio Conte is topping the league with Napoli and free-scoring Lukaku.
The former Premier League midfielder added that the American has ‘done really well’, with five goals and two assists to his name from seven matches, as he told ESPN.
Ex-Chelsea star Christian Pulisic the best player in Serie A
“He probably has you know,” responded Hutchison on whether Pulisic has been the best player in Serie A this season. I mean (Marcus) Thuram scored a hat-trick at the weekend (for Inter).
“I would probably say he ( has you know. I think he has done really well.
“Conte has been ripping it up. Top of the league, so Lukaku is looking good, but I think he (Pulisic) would be in the conversation, top three, for sure.”

Chelsea going strong under Enzo Maresca
Chelsea now have Cole Palmer wowing the public, so all of their old players can perform as well as they want, they won’t top what’s at Stamford Bridge now.
Even Noni Madueke deserves a special mention for his Chelsea performances, yes, the club have gone about it the hard way, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel.

Of course, emotions can run high and many in West London know that, with a few defeats here, then it will feel like the team is back to rock bottom.
But so far, despite the off-field news, things are running smoothly at the Bridge.
