Sky Sports claim that Antonio Conte will put an end to recent speculation by putting pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at Stamford Bridge beyond his current deal until 2019. The Italian has spoken of how he is missing his family who are still in Italy, but they are due to move to London before next season with Roman Abramovich keen to keep his head coach happy.

Inter Milan, AC Milan and Barcelona are all thought to have looked into the possibility of bringing the former Juventus manager to their dugouts, but it is likely that a deal could even be signed before Monday’s FA Cup tie against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Blues could lose one of their key players, if Spanish outlet Cope are accurate. They claim that Real Madrid are preparing a potential move for Eden Hazard should both of their attacking midfielders Isco and James Rodriguez leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital numerous times before but has returned to form this season which has boosted the speculation and fueled further rumour mongering about his future in west London.

Conte won’t be the only person to commit to the club though, say the Mirror, as midfielder Nemanja Matic is also believed to be close to agreeing a new deal with Antonio Conte keen to show that he wants the Serbian at the club long-term despite targeting additions in the middle of the park.

The 28-year-old is currently out of the team after being replaced by the in form Cesc Fabregas, but is expected to return eventually as he has been first choice alongside N’Golo Kante for much of the current campaign.
