The Guardian claim that Alexis Sanchez will be Chelsea’s top summer transfer target as they look to pry the Chilean from north London to west London in what would be one of the most sensational transfer moves of the Premier League era if he were to make the move when the transfer window re-opens.

Rumours regarding his the former Barcelona man’s future at the Emirates have been circling for much of the season and Chelsea have been linked before, with it understood that Antonio Conte sees him as one of the perfect additions for his front three to play alongside the likes of Eden Hazard.

However, there remains a risk that the Belgian could leave the club before the start of next season as the Daily Mail say that a bid worth more than £90 million is not off the cards with a fee which would beat the £89 million that Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba last summer.

Hazard has been back to his best this season with a number of goals and assists to his name and Conte will be desperate not to lose one of his key men after a hugely successful campaign in which the club could still win two trophies in the Premier League and in the FA Cup.

The Guardian also report that Conte has highlighted Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba as another addition that he would like to make to upgrade on Marcos Alonso on the left flank of midfield. The Austria captain is one of the most highly rated left-sided players in the world and can also play centrally in midfield.

Despite his youth, Alaba has been given a pivotal role in the Bayern Munich set-up over the past few seasons in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League and could look to replicate that success in London with Chelsea if he did make the move.
