Billed as a potential title decider already, despite how early it still is in the season. The Blues didn’t disappoint and despite a bright start by Arsenal, Marcos Alonso ensured that his side were running away with the game by half-time. A fine effort from Eden Hazard but it beyond doubt and Cesc Fabregas even had time to score from the bench. A late consolation goal by Olivier Giroud will blemish the display for Antonio Conte, but it was a great day for the blue side of London.

Thibaut Courtois – 7
Rarely troubled, could perhaps have done better with Olivier Giroud’s goal but no-one was too bothered at that point of the game. Made good saves from Gabriel and Welbeck.
