Chelsea Player Ratings: How did Antonio Conte’s men rate in their 3-0 win over Middlesbrough?

Victor Moses – 6

One of the wing-backs quieter performances, he seems to be more tired with every game. Looked to run at the Middlesbrough full-back George Friend but much of the Chelsea attack was coming down Marcos Alonso on the left flank instead.

Cesc Fabregas – 9

Showed all of his quality in the pass to set up Diego Costa’s strike to break the deadlock and did it again to set up Nemanja Matic. This kind of display shows just how valuable he can be to Chelsea with his vision and passing. A luxury player maybe, but a top quality one definitely.

Nemanja Matic – 7

Quieter than his midfield partner but got on the scoresheet with a well taken goal which from a set piece. Efficient in midfield and looked to apply the pressure as high as he could, easily winning the physical side of the midfield battle.

Marcos Alonso – 9

Hit the post with a rasping effort in the opening minutes and the luck that evaded him then fell his way as his cut back bounced off the legs of Brad Guzan and into the back of the net. Nearly set up Diego Costa with a great cross and was a nuisance from start to finish.
