Pedro – 5

A disappointing afternoon for the Spaniard who just didn’t have his shooting boots on, blasting several clear chances over the bar and wide of the mark. On another day, his movement could have been a real threat.

Diego Costa – 7

Did well to equalise, superbly chesting the ball down before rifling a shot which was deflected past David Ospina. Perhaps could have had another when he broke through in the final moments, but this was one of Costa’s better displays of the past few months and he can’t be held accountable for the defeat.

Eden Hazard – 6

Anonymous throughout, the Belgian had one of his off days and failed to give Chelsea any potency as they moved forward. Well marshaled by the Arsenal defence, he was denied the time or space to really show his skill and failed to stamp his influence on the game.
