Chelsea fans urge Tuchel to hand chance to 21-year-old, amid Leeds links

Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer. Crystal Palace and Leeds have both been linked and now, Blues fans have been reacting on Twitter.

Gallagher has formed part of Thomas Tuchel’s pre-season training. He actually hopes to force his way into the team, although according to Football London, he does want to be playing regularly.

The 21-year-old is a bright, young talent who has shone out on loan previously. During 2019/20 he was on loan with Charlton and Swansea, whilst last season he tasted Premier League football with West Brom.

Gallagher typically operates in central midfield, although he can play as a holding player, or in the No.10 role higher up the pitch.

Last season he played a more conventional midfield role for the Baggies. He scored twice and claimed two assists from his 32 appearances but was unable to prevent West Brom from being relegated.

Both Leeds and Palace would provide interesting options. It does seem as though Blues supporters would welcome him being around Tuchel’s squad this season.

Following the latest links, they have taken to Twitter and Gallagher has a lot of admiration from the Blues faithful.

Here is what they had to say as Chelsea weigh up what to do with Gallagher next season.
