Chelsea fans have been giving their thoughts on Twitter today after reports linked them with Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Telegraph reports how the Blues could be interested in landing Aubameyang this summer. Arsenal are said to be open to the idea of a sale, if the right money is put up.

In the same report, interestingly, is news that Frank Lampard had apparently tried to sign Aubameyang last year. At the time, it is claimed the deal was too expensive.

Lampard, instead, brought in a number of other star names. The likes of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner arriving at Stamford Bridge.

Social media, naturally, has been awash with comments. Chelsea fans have been all over Twitter discussing the Aubameyang reports.

And it’s safe to say that, in the main, most Blues fans are quite happy no deal was struck.

Chelsea fans not keen on Aubameyang signing

Subsequently, despite being excellent in previous seasons, Aubameyang has struggled this term for Arsenal. His numbers are down, and he has, at times, looked a shadow of his former self.

Chelsea fans have picked up on that. And the comments on Twitter reflect a fan base who is glad to not have ‘Auba’ on board.

Here, then, is a look at what some Chelsea supporters had to say.
