Chelsea fans react to Everton’s reported interest in Fikayo Tomori

A number of Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from The Telegraph suggesting that Everton are keen on signing Fikayo Tomori on loan.

The Telegraph suggested that Carlo Ancelotti has his eye on Tomori as he looks to bolster his defensive ranks ahead of his first full season at Goodison Park.

The 22-year-old made 15 Premier League starts last term having previously been outstanding working under Frank Lampard at Derby County.

He did however, not feature for the Blues beyond February. And The Telegraph has now suggested that Ancelotti is waiting to see whether Chelsea are willing to loan him out for the coming campaign.

The reports claiming Everton want Tomori have attracted plenty of attention amongst some of the Chelsea supporters on social media.

Many believe that a switch to Merseyside would be ideal for the youngster. They believe that he is more likely to play regularly for the Toffees, and hope that an agreement can be reached.

Some would rather see other defenders moved on if Lampard is ready to offload players this summer.

But the idea of Tomori learning under former Blues boss Ancelotti has left many Chelsea fans imploring the club to let a loan move happen this summer if Tomori is going to struggle for game-time.
