Chelsea have matched the offer made by PSG for Inter Milan wing-back Achraf Hakimi, according to a report from Sky Sports, and supporters have reacted on Twitter.

The Champions League winners could hold the aces of the Ligue 1 outfit too.

Inter hold an interest in Chelsea misfit Emerson Palmieri and that could give the Premier League outfit an advantage.

Simeone Inzaghi is also keen on Andreas Christensen and the Blues will hope a deal can be struck in the near future.

Inter want Palmieri on loan, although Chelsea would dearly like a permanent deal to take place this summer.

It is thought that the offer made by the Blues is still someway short of Inter’s £68 million asking price.

The interest in the Chelsea duo could, however, help smooth the deal along.

Hakimi is a former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund player with bags of potential to continue improving.

He scored seven goals and registered 11 assists last season as Inter secured their first Serie A title in many years.

His goal contributions and all-action style of play have really caught the eye and Chelsea will hope to get their man this summer.

Hakimi can play as a wing-back or as a right-back as part of a flat back four.

Thomas Tuchel clearly sees him as ideal for his system and will hope to beat PSG to his signature.

Chelsea fans want Hakimi to sign

Certainly, the Chelsea fans are excited by the possibility of Hakimi rocking up at Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks.
