Chelsea have been handed a major fitness boost ahead of tomorrow’s game with Leicester City. It is claimed that Mateo Kovacic is set to return to the squad after a period on the sidelines.
The 27-year-old has been missing since April with a muscle problem but he’s set to be in Thomas Tuchel’s squad as they face the Foxes at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were beaten by Leicester in Saturday’s FA Cup Final. There is plenty at stake tomorrow too, with a top-four place still in the balance for the Blues.

Kovacic has played 39 games in all competitions this season and having him fit for the end of the campaign will be a welcome boost.
Tuchel’s midfield was overrun at the weekend and having his physical presence and guile in possession will be a welcome asset to the team if called upon.
It remains to be seen whether the £100,000-a-week player will start but supporters are certainly buoyed by the news that he’s back in the squad.
Following today’s news, they took to Twitter to discuss the midfielder’s potential return.
