Chelsea fans react as Leeds and Palace reportedly in talks to sign Blue on loan
Leeds United and Crystal Palace have both reportedly held talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loan. The England Under-21 international is likely to leave Chelsea temporarily again. Chelsea fans have reacted on Twitter to reports that Leeds and Palace are in talks.
Gallagher, 21, spent last season on loan at West Brom in the Premier League after starring for Swansea City in the Championship. While he failed to stop the Baggies going down, he did certainly catch the eye with his 30 Premier League appearances. Now, another Premier League loan is likely.
Football London report that Leeds gave Gallagher a detailed presentation a few weeks ago that is said to have tempted the midfielder. More recently, he has spoken on the phone to new Palace boss Patrick Vieira – and sporting director Dougie Freedman. Freedman, of course, played for Leeds.

What are Chelsea fans saying about Leeds and Palace wanting Gallagher?
At Chelsea, Gallagher has little chance of breaking into the side given the wealth of talent open to Thomas Tuchel. Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and plenty more are options in midfield for the Blues. It has seen Billy Gilmour leave on loan to join Premier League side Norwich City.
Chelsea fans have reacted on Twitter to reports that Leeds and Palace are keen on Gallagher this summer. Supporters believe that a loan is the right move for their academy product, and one fan believes: “He’d be so so good at Leeds”.
