Chelsea supporters have been outraged by Fulham’s latest club decision, which was based on the VAR controversy surrounding their recent game.
Chelsea defeated Fulham 2-0 in the Premier League, with goals from Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez giving the Blues a vital three points.
However, the game was littered with VAR controversy. The biggest talking point was the decision to rule out Josh King’s goal, which would have given Marco Silva’s team the lead.
A foul on Trevoh Chalobah was deemed to be the reason behind it, although the PGMOL has since admitted that a mistake was made with this decision.

Chelsea fans are furious at Fulham’s goal of the month competition including Josh King’s finish
Fulham have opted to include King’s goal in their monthly goal of the month competition, which focuses on goals scored by the club.
Of course, King’s strike was ruled out against Chelsea, and therefore isn’t in the record books, but Fulham have opted to give fans the chance to vote for it as they continue to showcase their frustration at the VAR decision.
Fulham including King’s goal has sparked fury from Chelsea supporters, who have quickly called out the club for this online.
Another Chelsea fan has reacted to Fulham’s decision by calling the club “pathetic,” as they disagree with what the club is doing.
A different supporter stated that it’s “embarrassing” for Fulham to be still talking about the incident this far out from it happening.
A different fan has claimed that it was a foul, by saying, “Since when is stepping on a player’s foot not a foul regardless of whether it was intentional or not? An offence is an offence.”
Another simply stated that it was a ” small-minded” choice to feature the goal within the competition.
Chelsea will aim to continue their unbeaten start
The controversial VAR call against Fulham allowed Chelsea’s undefeated start to the season to continue as the Blues look to progress up the league table this season.
Chelsea spent £296.5million in the summer transfer window, bolstering Enzo Maresca’s squad to ensure that they could be more competitive, and so far, they have done that.
Chelsea sit second in the Premier League table, and will attempt to keep their impressive start going on September 13 when they face Brentford.
