Chelsea thrashed Malmo in the Champions League to take a giant step towards qualification for the knockout stages.
Goals from Andreas Christensen, Kai Havertz and a brace of penalties by Jorginho secured the emphatic victory.
It was the performance of Callum Hudson-Odoi that caught the eye, however. He came on as a first-half substitute when Timo Werner picked up an injury.
The 20-year-old is deemed as a star of the future by some at Stamford Bridge. It’s fair to say that game time hasn’t been easy to come by though.

He has started just twice in the Premier League during 2021/22, although he has been part of each squad during the club’s league campaign.
Hudson-Odoi enjoyed himself during tonight’s rout. He claimed an assist for Havertz’s goal and seemed to thrive under a prolonged period on the pitch.
It does seem as though at some point Hudson-Odoi will have to go and play regular football somewhere else.
Despite his best efforts at Chelsea, he seems incapable of earning a regular run in the team.
Only time will tell whether this game can be the springboard for a run of games under Thomas Tuchel.
What have Chelsea fans said about Hudson-Odoi?
It’s fair to say that they’re pretty happy with his showing tonight. Hudson-Odoi applied himself superbly well and fans were chuffed.
The £120,000-a-week player has scored 13 times and registered 16 assists during 103 appearances and perhaps that isn’t good enough.
Consistency has been an issue, although performances like this are certainly a step in the right direction.
Following tonight’s game, we looked at what Chelsea supporters had to say regarding the performance of Hudson-Odoi this evening.
