Chelsea fans are all saying the same thing about Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after his Everton move

Chelsea fans have been having their say on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s time at Stamford Bridge after his move to Everton was confirmed on Wednesday.

Chelsea have sold Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton for a fee reportedly worth £28million, with the player penning a five-year contract.

Dewsbury-Hall has moved to Everton after just 12 months at Chelsea, where he made 36 appearances and registered five goals and nine assists.

Chelsea fans have all been making the same point about the 26-year-old – and Everton supporters will be pleased by what they have been saying.

Chelsea fans thank Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for his ‘fantastic’ work

Fans of Chelsea have been describing Dewsbury-Hall as a talented and professional player who always gave his all and never kicked up a fuss about a relative lack of game time.

“You cannot say anything bad about someone like KDH,” one fan wrote on X.

“Despite being surplus to requirements, he knuckled down, did a stern job and won a handful with us in the process.

“Fantastic, hard-working player. Best of luck at Everton!”

Another supporter said: “Never once kicked up a fuss, got on with things.

“Did his job well as a great little squad player but deserves more game time. Good luck at Everton KDH!”

The praise for Dewsbury-Hall kept coming, with one fan writing: “Thank you @KDH__8, you’ll be forever loved by this fan base.

“Go smash it over there. Blue for life.”

Chelsea fans also sang Dewsbury-Hall’s praises on Instagram, with one saying: “We’ll miss you here at Chelsea.

“You were an underrated baller for us. Thanks for everything.”

Another said: “One of those guys that will spend one year at your club and you’ll respect him for life.”

Another said: “Will always have massive respect for KDH.

“Came to Chelsea from Championship. Never complained or showed bad attitude when not played. Gave his best whenever called upon.

“Won the UEFA Conference League. Won the Club World Cup and became World Champion. Warra guy!”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s thoughts on Everton move

Dewsbury-Hall is Everton’s fifth signing of the summer after Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers and Adam Aznou.

“I’m honestly very excited, my family’s excited. There’s a real buzz about this. It feels right for me,” Dewsbury-Hall told the official Everton website.

“So just that alone gives me the motivation and the extra determination to show everybody, to prove a point and have a really successful time here.”
