Chelsea fans and Jamie Carragher had the same reaction to Moises Caicedo during the Tottenham fixture.
The Blues fell to a 2-1 defeat against Sunderland last weekend and were looking to bounce back against their old rivals.
Chelsea’s record against Tottenham is superb, with the West Londoners losing just one of their last 12 in all competitions.
Their dominance over the Lilywhites was on full display in the first half on November 1, with Moises Caicedo particularly impressive.

Chelsea fans blown away by Moises Caicedo vs Tottenham
Joao Pedro opened the scoring in the 34th minute, but it was Caicedo who deserves credit for the goal.
He got the assist after winning numerous tackles and was an overall nuisance to Spurs throughout the tie.
It’s therefore little surprise that the Chelsea faithful have swarmed social media to praise their South American midfielder.
One fan claimed he’s on the same level as Kylian Mbappe: “I think it’s time we stop putting Caicedo in best midfielder conversations. This is one of the best players. On the level with the likes of Mbappe.”
Another Chelsea supporter tweeted: “Moises Caicedo is a monster.”
“Was that Caicedo clearing that too? He’s genuinely everywhere,” claimed a third.
A fourth fan echoed the same point about the midfielder covering the entire pitch: “Caicedo is everywhere
“Caicedo’s a beast,” tweeted a fifth, while another suggested: “Moises Caicedo is better than Declan Rice.”
Jamie Carragher agrees with Chelsea fans about Moises Caicedo
Former Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher had a similar reaction to Caicedo’s display.
Covering the game live on Sky Sports Main Event, he gave a glowing review of the midfielder after his assist for Pedro’s goal.
He said: “This [goal] is all about Caicedo. He is an absolute monster in midfield that man.
“Challenge after challenge, they’ve struggled all afternoon with that build-up, but especially through Caicedo winning the ball. He won it back once, they get it back Tottenham, he wins it again, and then another challenge he wins.
“He doesn’t stop, he goes after a big centre-back, takes it off him. Dansel comes across, beats him to a challenge and that’s where the finish comes from.”
“But that goal was all about Moises Caicedo, absolutely fantastic.”
