After a hectic few days, it now appears that a temporary solution has been found in the row between Chelsea and Diego Costa. Sky Sports believe that the two parties have come to an agreement so that the Spaniard can return to training with his teammates and be available for selection for Antonio Conte at the weekend when they face Hull.
The Spanish international is still believed to be seeking a summer exit from the club, but the Blues cannot afford to lose their top scorer in the middle of a Premier League title challenge.
Sky Sports also believe that the club have looked to Middlesbrough for additions and have made an approach to the club for their exciting winger Adama Traore. The former Barcelona prospect left the Spanish club for Aston Villa before moving to the Riverside on deadline day.
The 20-year-old has pace to burn and has shown as much in his 14 appearances for Aitor Karanka’s side this season despite failing to register a goal or an assist. He may not be available cheaply, but it certainly seems like Traore could be the kind of project that Antonio Conte could take on to take him to the next level.
The deal could be helped by the fact that the club are close to completing the sale of striker Patrick Bamford to the north-east club, say the Telegraph. The 23-year-old has spent much of his time at the club out on loan since joining from Nottingham Forest in 2012 for £1.5 million, and he now looks set to be sold for a deal which could reach £10 million.
The forward enjoyed the best spell of his career at the club as he scored 19 goals in 44 games when on loan there in the 2014/15 season. A return could help to get the best out of Bamford, who has managed just 22 appearances at three different Premier League clubs since leaving Boro.
