This week has seen Bradley Dack continue to be linked with a move away from Blackburn Rovers. The Sun reported this week that both West Ham United and Crystal Palace were being linked with a move for the player.
They even suggested a price-tag for the player. £20 million.
Such a fee would be monumental for the Championship player and would also have Charlton Athletic kicking themselves.
That’s because the Addicks let Dack go at the age of 14.

Charlton have a great recent track record with young talent. Ademola Lookman, Ezri Konsa and Joe Gomez all have bright futures in the game. Unfortunately, it would appear Dack was one that got away.
As reported by The Mirror, Dack was released by the London club in 2007 for being too small. However, after returning to playing football with his mates at Corinthian, Gillingham gave him a chance.
He went on to become a star for the Kent club and join Blackburn in 2017. This season he has 11 goals and six assists in 18 games with some even suggesting a potential England call-up is in his future.
Charlton rarely get it wrong when it comes to youth development. On this occasion, they will be kicking themselves.
