Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has tipped Wolves to qualify for next season’s Champions League by finishing in the top four of the Premier League.
Nicholas was full of praise for Nuno Santo and the side he has built at Molineux and tipped the Old Gold to dine at Europe’s top table next season.
He said: “I see Wolves as one of the best sides in the Premier League. They are hard to beat, they like to play against the big boys in the league and have the credibility against those top sides. I am a big fan of Nuno Espirito Santo, and when I look at how the Premier League is adapting, has it been as good as last season? Most will probably think not.
“Wolves are a still in the Europa League, while being in a nice position where they can go within a few points of the top four if they win their game in hand. Overall, I am just favouring Wolves to sneak into those positions.”

TBR’s View – Can Wolves manage the run-in with their thin squad?
There may come a time this season when Wolves have to prioritise which route into next season’s Champions League they believe is the most realistic.
It might be that they are eliminated from the Europa League and can focus all of their energy on the league in the closing weeks of the season.
Similarly, if their European adventure continues, the league form may go by the wayside to compensate.
That may not happen; Wolves have managed the demands of the season well so far and their thinner squad has not held them back so far.
