Charlie Nicholas believes that Tottenham will be held to a draw when they travel to Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs face Brighton in the Premier League in the final game before the international break and it’s a colossal fixture for them.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were hammered 7-2 at home by German club Bayern Munich in midweek during a Champions League group stage tie.
The North London club desperately need to bounce back with a win at the weekend, as there is a toxic atmosphere building at present and a lot of pressure on staff and players.
Sky Sports pundit Nicholas can see it getting worse for Spurs and is predicting a 1-1 draw in their trip to Brighton.
“What do we say about Tottenham? They produced a battling performance with 10 men against Southampton, but they are struggling, and Bayern ruthlessly picked them apart,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.
“Unfortunately for Graham Potter, the results have not been overly impressive at Brighton. New managers do take time, but they can cause Spurs problems. Tottenham are there for the taking at the minute – there is no togetherness and Brighton could squeeze them in this.”

TBR’s View:
Pochettino goes into the weekend’s fixture against Brighton desperately needing a result and it should be up to his senior players to deliver on the pitch.
They owe the fans a big performance after rolling over against Bayern and if they play anywhere near their best they should be too strong for Brighton.
But performances have been extremely inconsistent so far and Spurs have just two points from their opening three away league games this season.
Pochettino’s team beat Brighton home and away last season in the top-flight, so they should be an ideal opponent to face on Saturday and try send out a statement.
