Former Arsenal and Celtic midfielder Charlie Nicholas likes the look of this West Ham squad on the back of last Sunday’s win over Manchester United, in particular record signing Sebastien Haller.
As per Sky Sports, feels Manuel Pellegrini has made shrewd moves in the transfer market and picked out 25-year-old Haller as someone he especially likes.
He said: “This is the best group West Ham have had in the Premier League. Manuel Pellegrini has bought well; they are aggressive at the back, have a great balance across the park and have a very consistent goalkeeper in Lukasz Fabianski.
“I like Sebastian Haller – he has got a great touch and looks a permanent goal-threat.”

TBR’s View – West Ham have to be aiming for Europe after United win
The Hammers were among the clubs looking towards the top six when the season kicked off, alongside Everton, Wolves and Leicester.
The Old Gold are languishing down the bottom like West Ham did last season, but with a better start this time around, the Hammers should outstrip them.
Everton have had a recent wobble and look shaky at the back, which should encourage West Ham that they have a shout of gatecrashing the top six.
The key is consistency, following up that United result and performance on the TV with a strong display away from home against a Bournemouth side who can score goals against almost anyone. That’s what will make the difference.
