Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has claimed that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is struggling right now for form.
The 26-year-old England captain has linked up with the Three Lions for the international break and is likely to be leading the team out against Czech Republic on Friday night.
He may be pleased for a break from club commitments, as Spurs have had a torrid time in recent weeks.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have lost two of their last three Premier League games, been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and also lost 7-2 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stages.
The North London club are facing a barrage of questions due to their major dip in form and a number of their individuals have seen their levels plummet.
Nicholas told Sky Sports that Kane is “out of form” ahead of England’s next match.
But the criticism of the centre-forward seems harsh, as he does have four goals in his last five Spurs games across all competitions and has continued delivering his end of the bargain.

TBR’s View:
Kane has seven goals in 10 games across all competitions for Spurs this season, which is why it’s a slight insult to suggest he’s a man out of form.
His overall game can certainly improve and he can be more involved in play, but he’s not lost much of his confidence in front of goal and is still the talisman for his side.
It would be no surprise to see him fire during the break for England and he’s now got extra competition from Chelsea’s rising star Tammy Abraham.
Kane needs help from his Spurs teammates to dig them out of trouble and he can’t do it all on his own.
