A number of Arsenal fans have waxed lyrical about Nuno Tavares following his superb display for the Gunners against Leicester on Saturday.

Arsenal needed just five minutes to take the lead as Gabriel Magalhaes headed home Bukayo Saka’s corner.

Aaron Ramsdale was instrumental to the victory as he pulled off some superb saves, including a world-class stop to thwart a James Maddison free kick.

Likewise, Ben White impressed alongside Gabriel at centre-back, while Takehiro Tomiyasu shone on the right side.

But plenty of Arsenal fans were delighted with Tavares’ display given he’s doing a superb job deputising for Kieran Tierney.
