Tottenham Hotspur loanee Sergio Reguilon has reportedly emerged as a target for Borussia Dortmund.

According to Sky Sport Germany, the Spurs full-back has been the subject of an enquiry by the Bundesliga club.

Reguilon is on the Tottenham books but, at present, he’s at Manchester United on a season-long straight loan.

However, the Spurs defender is struggling for game time under Erik ten Hag.

Reguilon has made just 10 appearances for the Red Devils this season, for a total of 647 minutes.

The report also claims that the 27-year-old has a clause in his loan deal that allows him to end the stint at any time.

With that in mind, the Tottenham man seems like a more attainable target than Real Madrid’s Fran Garcia.

The report claims that Dortmund will find it difficult to pry the 24-year-old away from Los Blancos despite his lack of game time.

Tottenham Hotspur will fancy their chances of offloading Sergio Reguilon – TBR View

Reguilon is surplus to requirements at Tottenham, hence his loan switch to Man United. But he’s not had much joy there either.

However, the £28million man appears to have a chance to move to another club – one that’s still in the Champions League, no less.

It certainly looks like a likely move. Reguilon isn’t having a great time at Man United and the onus seems to be on him to call time on the loan spell.

Then, Dortmund and Tottenham will have to come to an agreement, but with Spurs not having much use for Reguilon, they shouldn’t have any issues.

Indeed, Tottenham may fancy their chances of including an option/obligation to buy and potentially get Reguilon off their books.
