Cesc Fabregas has now tweeted about facing Tottenham Hotspur for Arsenal and has reminded Spurs fans what happened on this day 15 years ago.
Fabregas spent just under nine years at Arsenal and became a club legend before leaving for Barcelona in 2011.
The Spaniard played in plenty of North London derbies and often enjoyed success in them.
During his spell at the Emirates, Arsenal were the superior team and now Fabregas has had his say on playing in the derby.

Fabregas tweets about facing Tottenham for Arsenal
Arsenal beat Spurs 3-1 at White Hart Lane thanks to goals from Emmanuel Adebayor and Fabregas.
Gareth Bale had put Tottenham ahead after a superb free-kick but the Gunners bounced back.
Fabregas set-up Adebayor for his first of the afternoon and scored a stunning long-range effort himself.
And now the Spaniard has posted an eight-word tweet in response to the game.
“It was always the best game of the year.” Fabregas posted on Twitter.

It seems that Fabregas has no problem reminding Spurs fans about Arsenal’s previous dominance over their rivals.
Since the Spaniard left North London the rivalry has become a lot more even.
The last time Arsenal finished above Spurs was back in the 2015-16 season. And Tottenham finished above the Gunners the following year for the first time in 22 years.
It’s undoubtedly one of the fiercest rivalries in English football and the two teams have been battling it out for bragging rights over the past few seasons.
It looks set to be a close battle between Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte once again this season too. Just a point separates the sides after six games in the Premier League.
