It’s turning out to be an incredible season for Liverpool academy striker Oakley Cannonier.
The 17-year-old simply can’t stop scoring for the Reds Under-18s.
On Saturday, Cannonier added another two U18 Premier League goals to his tally.

Liverpool ran out 6-2 winners over Middlesbrough’s U18s at Rockliffe Park.
Boro had beaten Liverpool 4-3 earlier in the season when Calum Kavanagh bagged a hat-trick.
And after two minutes, it looked as though the Reds could go on to suffer the same fate.
Liverpool outfit fell behind early on to Sonny Finch’s effort, but the Reds quickly turned things around.
Lee Jonas levelled for Liverpool on nine minutes before they took the lead from an Alfie Myers-Smith own goal.
Then, Cannonier got his first of the match on 22 minutes and then struck again in the 40th minute.
Nathan Simpson pulled a goal back for Boro in the 53rd minute to make it 4-2.
However, Luke Chambers scored Liverpool’s fifth of the game just two minutes later.
And Liverpool wrapped up the rout with a sixth goal in the final moments, courtesy of Josh Davidson.
While the Reds were outstanding throughout, fans were especially delighted with Cannonier.
He now has a staggering 17 goals from just 13 league games.
Here’s what some Liverpool fans said about Cannonier:
Cannonier famously played a part in Liverpool scoring their fourth goal against Barcelona in their 2018-19 Champions League semi-final second leg.
He quickly got the ball to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who in turn bamboozled the Barca defence with a quickly-taken corner for Divock Origi to curl home.
Cannonier recently told LFCTV (via Goal.com): “I want to be known as a ‘legend’ for a different reason, not for being a ballboy!”
The way he’s going, surely it won’t be long before he’s lighting up Premier League 2.
Then, training with the seniors, a substitute debut in a cup competition… the sky’s the limit for Cannonier.
