Celtic defender Kieran Tierney is reportedly being eyed by Premier League club Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the Scottish Sun, Arsenal are lining up a potential £25million raid for the left-back and have been tracking him for the last couple of years.
It is understood that the Gunners are set to step up their interest and are prepared to match the player’s valuation, which would shatter Celtic’s previous record sale of Moussa Dembele for £20million.
Tierney is still under contract at Parkhead until 2023, but if the club lost him it would be so tough trying to find a replacement for such a key player.
The 21-year-old has made 162 senior appearances since coming through the academy and is one of the most consistent performers in the squad.

He’s got all the attributes needed for a modern day full-back and it’s no surprise that top Premier League clubs are sniffing around for him.
Celtic do have a handful of top players in their group who are capable of playing at the highest level and Tierney is hands down one of them, which is why if he left trying to find a replacement would be a sizezable task.
He offers so much to the Bhoys going forward and also defensively, so demanding a lot more than the quoted £25million fee Arsenal could arrive with makes sense and ideally convincing the player to stay at the club.
