It appears that Celtic might be set to lose Moussa Dembele. The Frenchman missed training this morning with Marseille and Lyon linked with a move for the player. France Football recently suggested a deal in the region of £18.1 million and Valere Germain for his services.
It will leave Celtic with just Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths as recognised striking options for the rest of the season. Now, whilst centre-back recruits should be a more pressing matter, Celtic will surely want another striker on board as well.

So should Celtic look to bring Jermain Defoe north of the border?
The former England international has been linked with an exit from current club Bournemouth recently. He is struggling for first-team football with the Cherries and Nottingham Forest were recently linked with a move for his services. Despite Eddie Howe insisting that Defoe is not leaving, a tempting loan offer would surely be considered.
Celtic would, however, be a far more fitting location for the player, who was also linked with Old Firm rivals Rangers earlier in the summer.
The 35-year-old, who has scored 20 goals in 57 caps for England, would be the perfect experienced option to back up both Edouard and Griffiths if Dembele does decide he wants to move on.
