Celtic are reportedly one of several clubs interested in Middlesborough defender Dael Fry.
According to TEAMtalk, the 21-year-old is being monitored by Celtic, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Bournemouth.
The report does add that Championship side Boro have “little intention” of allowing the England Under-21 international to leave the Riverside and the player is believed to be happy at his boyhood club.
But the colossus 6ft 4in defender would be a genius Brendan Rodgers signing if they could bring him to Scotland in the future.
Fry is a highly-rated talent that has come through the ranks at Boro and is now an important part of their first team.

The centre-back is a commanding figure with his no-nonsense approach and his quality in the air, which often sees him dominate centre-forwards.
He’s already impressed with national side England at youth level and is only going to improve over the coming years.
Celtic certainly need to consider a replacement for on-loan Filip Benkovic at Parkhead and it would be quite some statement if they managed to twist Boro’s arm over Fry.
The Scottish champions have the appeal of European football on their side and a marquee signing in defence should be lined up for the near future.
