The debate about whether Brendan Rodgers should have traded in the chances of silverware at Celtic for another crack at the Premier League at Leicester City will rage on and on.

And so will the questions over the timing of his decision – with the treble treble in sight – but Celtic supporters show no signs of letting up in terms of hoping his Foxes reign is a bust.

It started in disappointing fashion for Rodgers; going down 2-1 to Watford thanks to a late Andre Gray goal to ensure he collected absolutely nothing from his first match in charge of Leicester.

That was a tough pill to swallow but Celtic fans – who watched their side see off Hibernian in the first match of Neil Lennon’s second spell in charge the day before – were keen to revel in the result.
