Celtic made it into the Scottish Cup final for the third season running after a fairly routine 3-0 win over Aberdeen yesterday.
Dominic Ball’s first half red card made Celtic’s task a little easier, and while the score was 2-0, Lewis Ferguson got sent off also, compounding Aberdeen’s misery.
James Forrest netted the first goal of the game before Odsonne Edouard doubled the lead from the penalty spot and Tom Rogic netted the third with a touch over 20 minutes remaining.
But the performance of Edouard caught the attention of the Bhoys supporters. After a season where he has sometimes struggled to make an impact, he showed his class on the big stage once more yesterday.

A meeting with Hearts next month now provides the only real barrier to Celtic scooping yet another treble and while the identity of the manager who will lead the club into next season remains up in the air, there’s no doubt that Edouard should be the man spearheading the attack.
The supporters clearly love him and took to Twitter to hail his performance and we’ve put together the best of the reaction…
