Celtic should brace themselves for increased interest from Arsenal over Kieran Tierney, after Nicolas Tagliafico committed another year to Ajax.
The Gunners had been strongly linked with a summer swoop for the Argentina international, but it would appear he will now be staying put.

The Dutch giants released a video on Twitter of their man reaffirming his commitment to the club, and followed it up with news of his extension.
The development could be bad news for Celtic, who may now have to deal with an actual pursuit from Arsenal this summer over Tierney.
The Sun reported back in February that the 21-year-old is a £25 million target for the north Londoners, who have been tracking the full-back for two years.
TBR’s view
Tagliafico committing to Ajax really isn’t great news for the Hoops, because Arsenal are in dire need of fresh impetus in their defence.
Nacho Monreal’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the jury is still out on Sead Kolasinac.
There is clear need at the Emirates for someone of Tierney’s quality, and Celtic may have to brace themselves.

One thing they may have to hope for is the Gunners failing to win the Europa League, which would mean they don’t get to play Champions League football next term.
That would reportedly leave them with a measly transfer budget of £40 million (The Sun), which could mean a move for Tierney would be unlikely.
