Toure rejection
Celtic are set to snub a move for Yaya Toure, according to the Daily Record.
The three-times Premier league winner had been linked with a sensational move to Parkhead after leaving Olympiacos in late 2018.

Toure added fuel to the fire by complimenting Celtic whilst appearing on Monday Night Football, but apparently Celtic have ‘no interest’ in the Ivorian powerhouse.
It would seem Brendan Rodgers is targeting other midfield players this month.
Trio targeted
Celtic are apparently keen on signing James McCarthy of Everton on loan and Toure’s former Olympiacos teammate Omar Elabdellaoui, according to talkSPORT presenter Jim White (via The Scotsman).
Rodgers has made Youssouf Mulumbu available for loan, and so the Irishman wants cover in case of his departure.

Also targeted by Celtic is Sunderland’s exciting young striker Josh Maja (The Scottish Sun).
Maja has scored 14 goals in League One so far this season and is hot property.
Leicester want Rodgers
The Sun have claimed Leicester City want Rodgers to become their next manager, with faith in Claude Puel waning at the King Power Stadium.

Despite the Foxes’ comfortable position in the Premier League table, the feeling is that the Frenchman is ‘too negative’ with his tactics.
Leicester officials are impressed by what seven-time major trophy winner Rodgers has done in his two-and-a-half years at Parkhead.
