Fan festival announced
Celtic have announced a three-day summer bash will be held at Glasgow’s SEC for fans to celebrate the club (via the club’s official website).
The event will take place from July 26-28 and feature activities such as penalty shootouts, free-kick challenges, crossbar challenges, football darts and head tennis.
There will also be a superstore that will have the new kits for 2019/2020 stocked, and famous faces will be present to share stories about their time with the club.
Fans will also be able to see trophies at an event that will have ‘unprecented levels’ of celebration for the Hoops.
Celtic are set to do battle with Rangers over Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu, according to The Sun.
The 6ft 3in hitman has struggled a bit with injury this term, but has caught the eye for the Jam Tarts when fit.
The London-born forward has scored just one Premiership goal as a result of his disjointed season, but has proven to be a handful for opposition defences.
Hearts supposedly want around £1 million for Ikpeazu, who is also being eyed by Rangers.
Rose ‘ruled out’
Reports in Germany have suggested that Celtic-linked Marco Rose could now succeed Dieter Hecking at Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Bundesliga outfit announced today that he would be stepping down as their head coach at the end of the current season.
RB Salzburg manager Rose has been tipped as a possible replacement for Brendan Rodgers at Parkhead, but Bild claim he and Monchendgladbach have already struck up an agreement.
