Celtic defender Marvin Compper will be allowed to leave the club at the end of the season.
The Scottish Sun have reported that the German flop is ‘free to go’, after a terrible stint at Parkhead.

Compper has only ever made one first-team appearance for the Bhoys, after joining from RB Leipzig in January 2018.
He was frozen out by former manager Brendan Rodgers, and it looks as though the nightmare could finally come to an end for the ageing defender.
Stein named ’34th best manager of all-time’
Celtic legend Jock Stein has been named as only the 34th best manager in the history of football.
France Football (via The Sun) published a 50-strong list featuring some of the game’s greatest-ever tacticians.

Stein could only place 34th, despite lifting the European Cup in 1967 with his ‘Lisbon Lions’ and delivering 25 major honours during his time as Celtic boss.
Remarkably, Stein is somehow ranked below the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Diego Simeone, Fabio Capello Vicente Del Bosque and Guus Hiddink in the list.
The Herald branded Stein’s position in the list as ‘an insult’.
Burke ‘not a natural number nine’
Former Celtic striker Charlie Nicholas believes Oliver Burke isn’t a natural number nine.
The Scot has been operating as a central striker since joining the club on loan in January from West Bromwich Albion.

Burke, a winger by trade, hasn’t totally convinced Nicholas. He wrote for Sky Sports: “Oliver Burke does not look a natural number nine and looks better playing with someone.”
Burke has four goals to his name so far.
