Brown nearing exit
Celtic captain Scott Brown is ‘pretty close’ to a moved to new A-League outfit Western Melbourne.
That’s the view of Maurice Bisetto, who is one of three backers behind their consortium.

He said, as quoted by The Scottish Sun: “We are pretty close with some players including a marquee. We are looking at a pre-season start in June, so things need to get moving.
“We think Scott Brown has a lot of positives and could make a significant contribution to a new club. As a leader on and off the field.”
Veteran Brown, now long-linked with the Aussie side, is out of contract at Parkhead at the end of the season as things currently stand.
Shved offered
Celtic have been offered the chance to sign Ukrainian winger Maryan Shved, according to The Scottish Sun.
The star is valued at £2 million by club Karpaty Lviv.

The promising 21-year-old would become the club’s fourth January signing with Brendan Rodgers having already brought in Timothy Weah, Oliver Burke and Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
Aitchison to leave?
Hoops youngster Jack Aitchison is reportedly wanted on loan by Championship side Alloa.
Alloa boss Jim Goodwin as made an enquiry over the 18-year-old say The Scottish Sun.

Aitchison turned heads a couple of years ago when he became the club’s youngest-ever player and goalscorer aged just 16 years and 71 days.
He went on to make a couple more appearances before having a short loan spell with Dumbarton earlier this season.
