Celtic have lost another talented youngster, with Manchester City snapping up the attacking midfielder on an initial scholarship deal which will become a professional offer when he turns 17.
That is according to a report from The Telegraph, who claim that Josh Adam has signed a deal to join City this summer.
Plenty of teams reportedly showed an interest in the Celtic talent. It is suggested that both Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were keen on his services whilst Chelsea also had an eye on the situation.

But as the report states, Celtic have a good relationship with City and that may have helped the deal go through.
Celtic have signed the likes of Patrick Roberts, Daniel Arzani and Jeremie Frimpong from the Premier League side and Adam’s decision to head to The Etihad might be the best of a bad situation.
Given their long-term relationship with City, there is surely every chance that Celtic will see Adam back on loan at some point if he develops into a star over the course of the next few seasons.
But for now, Celtic will just be disappointed to lose another of their talented youngsters to a foreign force.
