Celtic are reportedly in talks with Cameron Carter-Vickers over a potential move from Spurs.

New Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou has set about looking to bolster his ranks ahead of a crucial 2020-21 season.

And the Australian has apparently identified central defence, right-back and wingers as priority positions.

Carter-Vickers is a really impressive player who just hasn’t had many chances at Tottenham but has shone elsewhere.

And Bhoys fans should be buzzing if their club were to seal this deal.

What could Celtic fans expect from Carter-Vickers?

Carter-Vickers is a quick defender who is also strong and dominant in the air – at Luton, he averaged 6.6 clearances per game.

He also boasts impressive passing accuracy, completing 84 percent of his passes for Bournemouth last term.

Carter-Vickers has come through the ranks at Spurs and made his debut in 2016.

However, the £5m-rated ace has only made four senior appearances for the London club.

At the same time, Carter-Vickers has won eight caps for the United States national team.

And his last two loan spells, at Luton and Bournemouth, saw him become a fan favourite on both fronts.

“Fantastic player to play with”

“Cam’s a great lad and a fantastic player to play with,” his former Luton teammate Sonny Bradley told Luton Today last year.

“He just knows what he’s doing, plenty of talking and I feel comfortable next to him.

“Cam’s been excellent… he’s come in, another player with a great attitude, a big future and right now we’re lucky to have him.”
