Celtic fans react as Odsonne Edouard is linked with Tottenham

Tottenham are eyeing a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard this month, according to 90Min.

The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in 17 appearances this season and is also attracting interest from elsewhere.

Tottenham could prove too good to turn down, and it remains to be seen whether they will enter with a bid.

Boss Jose Mourinho will be keen to put his own stamp on the squad this month. Harry Kane is currently injured and his need for another striker is pretty evident.

Edouard has proved a revelation at Celtic Park since arriving from PSG in 2017. He cost £8 million and has netted 49 goals and claimed 27 assists in 112 appearances.

Celtic won’t want to lose him at all but it could be inevitable eventually.

With the club still in Europe they can ill-afford to be left short in attack and if does go a contingency will need to be in place.
